Hours:
Full Time, Permanent

Salary: 
Up to £18 p/hour Dependant on Experience 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce finishing weld runs on fabricated assemblies

  • TIG welding of stainless steel and aluminium structures

  • Pipe welding on schedule 10 stainless steel

  • Cap weld in a single run in line with Work Instruction 36 and 55 up to an ASME IX Standard

  • Fabricate box and tubular structures in line with BS9606 1 & 2

  • Perform MIG welding applications on mild steel structures

  • General fabrication and fettling work

  • Follow Health & Safety policies and procedures in line with company standards


 

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

  • Experience using general engineering equipment

  • Ability to monitor and inspect work throughout production

  • Argon back purging on stainless steel pipework welding to ASME IX Standards

  • Skilled in welding with and without jig and fixture arrangements
