Warehouse/Stock Assistant
Location: Quedgeley Area
Pay: £13.50 per hour
Contract Type: Temp-to-Perm or Permanent
Hours: 12 hours per week across multiple days
Start Date: To Be Confirmed
Responsibilities:
- Receive stock and organise it in a timely manner.
- Use computer systems to log inbound shipments, update inventory, and track outbound shipments.
- Prepare, pick, and pack orders accurately, ensuring timely courier collection.
- Conduct regular stock inventory checks.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including pallet trucks, roller blinds, and potentially forklifts.
- Maintain a tidy, safe, and well-organised warehouse environment.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not essential—a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn are key.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing heavy lifting and shifting; training on safe lifting will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail, especially for packing orders to brand guidelines.
- Competent with computers, including Outlook and basic Excel; experience with Shopify is a bonus but not required.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills for efficient picking and packing.
- A proactive approach to safety and adherence to workplace health regulations.
- A forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
