Trainee Injection Moulding Technician
Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire
Hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm, Friday 8:00am–2:00pm (40 hours per week)
Salary: £13.00 – £14.00 per hour, depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time
Training: Full training provided

Due to increased demand for our devices, we have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Injection Moulding Technician to join our growing production team. This is a permanent role offering the chance to build a long-term career in a thriving and meaningful industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set and operate plastic injection moulding machinery, including BOY vertical insert and conventional moulders (10t–90t)
• Ensure tools are set safely and machines are running to specified tolerances
• Work closely with Quality Control to inspect and improve component quality
• Monitor production lines to maintain efficiency and minimise scrap
• Perform general tooling maintenance
• Deliver on-the-job training to Operators when required
• Support new tooling validations and development trials
• Maintain a safe working environment and carry out daily safety checks

Key Requirements:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
• Able to work independently and take initiative
• Strong communication skills
• Physically fit with a good standard of personal hygiene
• Positive attitude and willingness to support the team
