TIG Welder (Aluminium, Stainless Steel & Steel) 6365
Location: Gloucester
Salary: £33,500 per annum
Hours: Monday – Thursday | 8:00am – 4:30pm, Friday | 8:00am – 3:00pm

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the engineering sector, is currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join their growing team in Gloucester. This hands-on position involves working with aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components, ensuring the highest standards in welding, material preparation, and quality control.

Key Responsibilities of a TIG Welder:

• Performing TIG welding on aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel components

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints

• Preparing materials by cleaning, cutting, and accurately positioning for welding

• Setting up and maintaining TIG welding equipment safely and efficiently

• Inspecting welds for quality, accuracy, and structural integrity

• Following all health and safety procedures and wearing appropriate PPE

• Meeting production schedules while maintaining excellent workmanship

Key Skills of a TIG Welder:

• Proven experience with TIG welding across aluminium, stainless steel, and mild steel

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Ability to read and follow technical drawings and specifications

• Understanding of various aluminium alloys and their welding processes

• Familiarity with welding equipment setup and routine maintenance

• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and in a team

• Focus on health and safety standards and compliance
