Team Supervisor

Location: Tetbury
Hours: 4 day working week: Monday-Thursday. 8:00am-6:00pm
Salary: £28,000 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Team Supervisor to lead and coordinate a team of sewing machinist within a busy manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production flow, maintaining quality standards, and driving team performance

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of production machinists
  • Allocate and organise daily work tasks to meet production schedules
  • Prepare jobs and ensure materials and resources are available
  • Coordinate materials and job flow across the production process
  • Liaise closely with the Production Planner to maintain workflow
  • Manage and monitor production processes and performance KPIs
  • Complete production paperwork and maintain accurate records
  • Carry out inspection of finished goods to ensure quality standards
  • Motivate and develop the team to achieve productivity targets
  • Machine set-up and perform first line maintenance

Key Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing supervisory role
  • Sewing manufacturing experience is essential
  • Experience working with industrial sewing machines
  • Strong organisational and process management skills
  • Ability to lead, motivate and support a production team
  • Quality-focused with strong attention to detail
