Salary:
£12.95 – £14.00 per hour dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities of a Surface Treatment Operative:

  • Carry out surface treatment processes on metallic components
  • Perform masking and plating operations to required specifications
  • Work with treatments including Cadmium, Chrome, Passivation, Zinc Nickel, and Copper
  • Ensure components meet aerospace and engineering quality standards
  • Follow process instructions and health & safety procedures
  • Complete production and quality documentation accurately
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area

Key Skills of a Surface Treatment Operative:

  • Previous experience within surface treatment or plating environments
  • Experience with masking and plating metallic parts
  • Knowledge of Cadmium, Chrome, Passivation, Zinc Nickel, and Copper processes
  • Good attention to detail and quality standards
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and procedures
  • Reliable and able to work effectively within a team
