Job Title: Shot Blaster 

Location: Stonehouse
Hours: Full-time, Day Shift
Salary: up to £14 p/hour DOE 


Key Responsibilities of a Shot Blaster

  • Operate shot blasting machines to clean and prepare surfaces of metal, concrete, and other materials.

  • Ensure high-quality finishes by inspecting workpieces before and after blasting.

  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, ensuring proper functioning.

  • Follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).

  • Record details of work completed, including materials processed and maintenance performed.


 

Key Skills of a Shot Blaster

  • Previous experience operating shot blasting machinery or in a similar role.

  • Attention to detail and ability to achieve precise finishes.

  • Knowledge of safety standards and PPE requirements.

  • Physical stamina to stand, lift, and work in a demanding environment.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
