Service Administrator

Technical Admin

Location: Gloucester
Hours: Permanent, Monday to Friday
Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum

We are recruiting for a Technical Admin to join a well established automotive service business based in Gloucester. This is a varied role that will suit someone with a strong administrative background who is comfortable working in both an office and workshop environment and has a good level of technical or mechanical understanding.

Key responsibilities of the Technical Admin:

  • Carrying out technical administration duties within an automotive service environment
  • Raising and processing invoices
  • Order and parts processing
  • Using Sage for day to day administration
  • General administration using MS Office
  • Liaising with customers and service engineers
  • Checking incoming goods and parts
  • Completing PDI on equipment
  • Setting up machines and equipment ready for use

Key skills and experience required:

  • Previous experience in a technical or mechanical environment
  • Good technical or mechanical knowledge and aptitude
  • Comfortable working between an office and workshop setting
  • Computer literate with good MS Office skills
  • Experience using Sage is highly desirable
  • Confident communicator, able to deal with customers and engineers
