Location: Gloucester
Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time
Salary: £38,000 – £52,000 DOE + Bonuses

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven and commercially minded Sales Executive to join a successful and growing business in Gloucester, specialising in technical and engineering-based solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with proven sales experience and a background in engineering who enjoys building relationships, developing new business and delivering tailored solutions to clients across a range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities of a Sales Executive:

• Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients
• Identify opportunities for new business and follow up on leads
• Understand customer needs and present appropriate solutions
• Prepare quotations, proposals and negotiate terms
• Collaborate with internal technical and operational teams
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system
• Represent the company at meetings and industry events

Key Skills of a Sales Executive:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commercial awareness and confidence in client-facing roles
• Technically minded with the ability to understand and explain product features
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Strong organisational and time management abilities

Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience in a sales or business development role
• A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
• Full UK driving licence is essential
• Experience in technical, engineering or manufacturing industries is highly desirable
