Location: Tewkesbury
(Must me flexible to get to other locations)
Hours: Part-Time – Flexible, Multi-Site Working
Salary: £12.21 Per Hour
Key Responsibilities of a Retail Associate:
- Support the day-to-day running of charity retail shops within a cluster group, occasionally covering a shop independently.
- Open and close the shop, act as a key holder, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Supervise and support volunteers, ensuring consistent service standards.
- Manage stock, pricing, and visual merchandising to maximise sales.
- Promote Gift Aid and fundraising initiatives.
- Handle cash, banking, and use systems for stock and sales reporting.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and company policies.
- Provide excellent customer service and resolve queries or complaints.
- Work flexibly across different shop locations, covering absences and peak trading periods.
Key Skills of a Retail Associate:
- Retail or customer service experience, ideally in a charity or multi-site setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and support volunteers.
- Flexible, proactive, and able to work independently when needed.
- Confident with IT and retail systems.
