Job Title: Quality Manager

Location: Gloucester

Hours: 7:00am – 4:00pm Monday to Thursday, 7:00am – 1:00pm Friday

Salary: Competitive

Key Responsibilities of a Quality Manager:

  • Ensure the Quality Management System is compliant with company and industry standards
  • Lead internal audits to ISO9001 standards, documenting findings and resolving any gaps
  • Maintain and improve quality procedures to reflect actual working practices
  • Drive continuous improvement across quality processes and systems
  • Hold and document regular quality management meetings
  • Support successful outcomes of external ISO9001 audits
  • Ensure all equipment calibration is maintained and accurately recorded
  • Manage and maintain the training matrix to ensure compliance
  • Support the Quality Inspector and provide cover where required

Key Skills of a Quality Manager:

  • Strong knowledge and experience of ISO9001 within an engineering environment
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to manage audits, documentation, and continuous improvement activities
