Quality Inspector – Cheltenham

Permanent – Mon to Thurs 7.30 – 4.30, Friday 7.30 – 12.30

£28,000 – £34,000 dependent on experience

We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to ensure parts and components comply with customer specifications and AS9100 standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect components to meet customer and AS9100 requirements.
  • Use and calibrate inspection tools (verniers, micrometers, callipers, CMM).
  • Conduct hardness, conductivity, tensile, and painted part inspections (visual, thickness, adhesion, colour, gloss).
  • Complete first-off inspections and maintain accurate documentation, including FAIR reports.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Knowledge of AS9100 and first-off inspection procedures.
  • Detail-oriented with strong decision-making skills.
  • Engineering qualification or equivalent experience.

General Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with Quality and Health & Safety procedures.
  • Support team standards and collaborate with colleagues.
  • Be flexible for training or divisional transfers if required.
