Job Title: Quality Technician
Location: Gloucester
Hours: 7.15am – 4.15pm Mon to Thurs 7.15am – 12.15pm Friday
Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 Based on Experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Quality Engineer to join our Quality, Health, and Safety team. This role is crucial in ensuring the highest standards of product and process quality while driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, assess, and report on product and process quality.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across Quality processes and procedures.
• Reduce outstanding non-conformance reports (NCRs) and promote a zero non-conformance, right-first-time culture.
• Lead internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of Quality Management Systems (QMS).

 Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and customer specifications.
• Proven problem-solving skills with a methodical, structured, and data-driven approach.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (essential).
• HNC or equivalent qualification in Quality, Manufacturing, or Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of ISO 9001 (essential); ISO 29001 knowledge would be advantageous.
