Location:
Tewkesbury

Hours:
Minimum of 37.5 hours per week, working five shifts between Monday and Saturday. Start times: 05:15 or 13:30, Flexibility is essential.

Salary:
£14.54 – £15.42 per hour


Key Responsibilities of a Production Team Leader

  • Lead, support, and motivate production staff through clear, practical instruction to maintain productivity and efficiency.

  • Work collaboratively as part of a leadership team, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards are consistently met.

  • Complete production records with accuracy and efficiency.

  • Proactively report any production, quality, or maintenance concerns in line with company procedures.

  • Uphold hygiene and housekeeping standards across all work areas.

  • Contribute to a positive, safe working environment by following Health & Safety policies and promoting best practices.

  • Provide flexibility to support shift cover and meet operational demands.

Please note: This is a physically active role involving manual handling.


Key Skills of a Production Team Leader

  • Proven leadership experience within a fast-paced production environment.

  • Solid understanding of Health & Safety practices and safe working procedures.

  • Strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent organisational skills.

  • Effective communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships.

  • Flexibility to manage changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with food production environments, HACCP, and performance metrics (KPIs).

  • Experience within the dairy or food manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
