Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

Our client is seeking an organised and proactive MPS Planner to join their manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in production planning, supply chain, customer service or a similar operational environment who enjoys working in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the short-term production plan and customer order schedule.
• Balance customer demand with available production capacity.
• Liaise with customer service, supply chain, purchasing, production and dispatch teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment.
• Process daily and weekly order changes, including urgent requests and rescheduling.
• Create and release production orders through the ERP system.
• Monitor production shortfalls and support backlog management.
• Respond to lead time and order enquiries.
• Prepare production documentation and maintain accurate ERP system records.
• Attend planning meetings and communicate effectively with internal stakeholders.

Candidate Requirements:

• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
• Previous experience in planning, order management, supply chain, customer service or a similar operational role.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
• Experience using ERP systems.
• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
