Production Operative – Stroud

Location: Stroud
Hours: Double Days Shifts

  • Early shift: 6.00am – 2.00pm (1.00pm Fri)
  • Late shift: 2.00pm – 10.00pm (1.00pm – 8.00pm Fri)

    Salary: £14.35 per hour – Temp to Perm

First Base Employment has a requirement for a Production Operative to work with their client based in Stroud in one of their Production departments. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity.

 

Working on a double-days shift rotation and reporting to the Production Manager, you will be involved in a wide range of processes, assisting with machine maintenance and operation, and actively contributing to various teams and initiatives within the Plant.

 

Key Responsibilities of a Production Operative:

  • Operating machinery and ensuring proper maintenance
  • Assisting with production processes and adhering to quality standards
  • Actively contributing to team initiatives and improvement projects
  • Reporting defects or issues promptly to supervisors
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Key Skills of a Production Operative:

  • Previous experience working in manufacturing
  • Background in machine operation and production
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • Proactive and adaptable approach to work
