Production Assembler

Location: Stonehouse

Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:30am to 4:15pm; Friday, 7:30am to 12:15pm

Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour

First Base Employment is currently recruiting a Production Assembler for a well-established manufacturing company based in Stonehouse.

This role would suit someone with hands-on assembly experience who is comfortable working from drawings and written instructions in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities of a Production Assembler:

  • Working from customer drawings and written instructions
  • Assembling cable sub-assemblies, including hand and machine crimping
  • Mechanical assembly and cable preparation
  • Cutting materials to specification
  • Basic component assembly
  • Using basic measuring and testing equipment

Experience Required:

  • Experience with hand and/or machine crimping
  • Wiring experience
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Soldering experience is beneficial but not essential
