This role requires expertise in supply chain management, procurement, purchasing, and ERP optimisation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the procurement process, ensuring seamless operations for bespoke office chair production.

  • Monitor quality, safety, and standards across the procurement department and supply chain.
  • Generate procurement reports, analyse KPIs, and present findings to senior management.
  • Collaborate with accounts and senior leadership teams to plan payment schedules, fulfil invoices and purchase orders, and forecast future needs based on market conditions.
  • Drive innovation, manufacturing excellence, and positive change within a dynamic, fast-growing company.
  • Solve complex problems and embrace opportunities for self-growth and professional development.

About You:

  • A qualification in procurement management, operations management, or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential. Relevant experience, aptitude, and ambition are highly valued.
  • Proven experience in a management role within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of international import, customs, and freight regulations, as well as quality control standards.
  • Experience collaborating with creative and technical teams to design and launch new products is a bonus but not essential.
  • Understanding of MRP and ERP software solutions in live manufacturing environments.

Salary and Benefits

  • Competitive salary of circa £42,500 per annum plus an annual performance bonus (DOE).
  • Annual performance bonus opportunities.
  • Generous company pension scheme (after qualifying period).
  • Paid team-building and CPD days.
  • Holiday entitlement that increases with service.
  • Full training and ongoing professional development opportunities, including access to a personal development fund.
  • Join one of the Southwest's only Climate Pledge companies and contribute to sustainably manufacturing life-changing equipment.
