Location: Cirencester
Hours: Day Shift – 4 Day Week (39 Hours per Week)
Salary: £13.00 – £13.50 per hour
First Base Employment has a requirement for a Powder Coat Sprayer to work with their client based in Cirencester. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established manufacturing business operating a modern powder coating facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality finished products while maintaining excellent quality and productivity standards.
Working within the Production team and reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for operating the Gema powder coating line, carrying out quality checks, maintaining equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities of a Powder Coat Sprayer:
- Apply powder coatings to products, ensuring a high-quality and consistent finish.
- Operate the Gema powder coating line safely and efficiently.
- Carry out daily equipment checks and basic maintenance.
- Identify faults within the powder coating process and assist with troubleshooting.
- Support process improvements and the development of application methods.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Assist in the development of paint schemes and finishing processes.
- Follow all company Health & Safety procedures.
Key Skills of a Powder Coat Sprayer:
- Previous experience as a Powder Coat Sprayer or Industrial Paint Sprayer.
- Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of powder coating processes and finishing techniques.
- Experience using powder coating equipment (Gema experience would be advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Good problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.
