Part-Time Personal Assistant

Location: Remote (with occasional travel for property inspections and meetings in Gloucestershire)
Hours: Part-Time, 16–24 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 pro rata

Job Description

A small and growing business is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive individual to support its directors across a variety of administrative, property management, and financial coordination tasks. This is a flexible, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse workload and can work independently with minimal supervision. While primarily remote, the position will involve occasional travel for property inspections and meetings.

Key Responsibilities of a Part-Time Personal Assistant

  • Manage email correspondence and liaise with directors to determine next steps
  • Reconcile invoices and bank transactions using the Xero platform (training provided)
  • Conduct property inspections and complete digital reports using Inventory Hive
  • Coordinate tenant check-ins, check-outs, contracts, and related queries
  • Process and arrange payments for incoming invoices
  • Manage weekly PAYE contractor wage payments (support available)
  • Attend occasional meetings with directors and property agents, providing admin support
  • Liaise with estate agents on tenancy and property matters
  • Organise and maintain directors’ calendars and appointments
  • Review rental payments against bank records to ensure accuracy
  • Use Excel and PowerPoint to produce basic reports and presentations
  • Provide general administrative support as required

Key Skills of a Part-Time Personal Assistant

  • Previous experience in administrative or PA roles (property knowledge advantageous)
  • Willingness to learn new tools and systems, including Xero (training provided)
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Competent user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently with a proactive, can-do attitude
  • UK driver’s licence and access to a car for occasional property visits
