Part-Time Personal Assistant
Location: Remote (with occasional travel for property inspections and meetings in Gloucestershire)
Hours: Part-Time, 16–24 hours per week
Salary: £35,000 pro rata
Job Description
A small and growing business is seeking a reliable, organised, and proactive individual to support its directors across a variety of administrative, property management, and financial coordination tasks. This is a flexible, hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys a diverse workload and can work independently with minimal supervision. While primarily remote, the position will involve occasional travel for property inspections and meetings.
Key Responsibilities of a Part-Time Personal Assistant
- Manage email correspondence and liaise with directors to determine next steps
- Reconcile invoices and bank transactions using the Xero platform (training provided)
- Conduct property inspections and complete digital reports using Inventory Hive
- Coordinate tenant check-ins, check-outs, contracts, and related queries
- Process and arrange payments for incoming invoices
- Manage weekly PAYE contractor wage payments (support available)
- Attend occasional meetings with directors and property agents, providing admin support
- Liaise with estate agents on tenancy and property matters
- Organise and maintain directors’ calendars and appointments
- Review rental payments against bank records to ensure accuracy
- Use Excel and PowerPoint to produce basic reports and presentations
- Provide general administrative support as required
Key Skills of a Part-Time Personal Assistant
- Previous experience in administrative or PA roles (property knowledge advantageous)
- Willingness to learn new tools and systems, including Xero (training provided)
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Competent user of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently with a proactive, can-do attitude
- UK driver’s licence and access to a car for occasional property visits
