Double Day shifts: 6:00am – 2:30pm, 2:15pm – 10:45pm

£28,646 + 12.5% shift allowance

Key Responsibilities of a Painter:
- Preparation of components to achieve high-quality paint finishes
- Masking and preparing parts prior to painting
- Colour matching to customer specifications
- Selecting appropriate paints for different applications
- Spray painting primers, base coats, top coats and finishes
- Working with and preparing carbon fibre components
- Polishing gloss finishes to a high standard
- Carrying out quality checks on completed work
- Following work instructions and customer requirements
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Adhering to health, safety and environmental procedures
Key Skills of a Painter:
- Experience in paint preparation and finishing processes
- Ability to work with various substrates and use fillers
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and understand job packs
- Experience within aerospace, automotive or manufacturing (desirable)
- Knowledge of carbon fibre preparation (desirable)
- Reliable, team-oriented and quality focused
