Painter / Workshop Labourer
Location: Quedgeley
Hours: 7:15am – 4:15pm (Monday to Thursday), 7:15am – 12:15pm (Friday)
Salary: Dependent on experience
Key Responsibilities of a Painter / Workshop Labourer:
- Paint components and products (both repaired and new) to specification as detailed on spec sheets and repair documentation
- Apply multi-coat systems with DFT control
- Prepare component surfaces, including cleaning, sanding, and masking, to ensure adhesion and coating uniformity
- Select the appropriate coating based on material, application, and environmental conditions
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the workshop, including waste disposal and filter upkeep
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company health and safety policies
- Positively represent the company through professional conduct
- Perform general labour duties as required within the workshop
Key Skills of a Painter / Workshop Labourer:
- Understanding of paint storage requirements in line with health and safety policies
- Experience in mixing and applying two-pack paints
- Knowledge of equipment cleanliness requirements within the paint area
- Previous experience in a similar role preferred
Additional Information:
- Full-time, temporary role (3-6 months) with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate
