Location: Stonehouse, Gloucestershire

Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary: £27,000 per annum, depending on experience
Employment Status: Permanent

Key Responsibilities of an Office Administrator

  • Provide general office administration and support the smooth running of the office.
  • Answer telephone calls and respond to emails professionally.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales and Accounts teams.
  • Process and maintain accurate records, documentation and company information.
  • Handle customer enquiries and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Assist with quotations, customer orders and general sales administration.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and colleagues across the business.
  • Support the processing of invoices, purchase orders and other financial administration.
  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems.
  • Assist with customer returns, deliveries and related administration.
  • Prepare reports and information as required.
  • Provide holiday and absence cover for colleagues.
  • Support the company's ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and maintain accurate records.
  • Carry out other reasonable administrative duties as required.

Essential Criteria of an Office Administrator

  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Confidence using computers and computerised systems.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and manage several tasks.
  • Professional approach when dealing with customers and suppliers.
  • Reliable, flexible and willing to support colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience in office administration, customer service or sales administration.
  • Experience working within a small business or distribution environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP or CRM systems.
  • Experience supporting Sales and Accounts functions.
  • Experience processing orders, quotations, invoices or purchase orders.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems.
