Location: Tewkesbury

Hours: Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week five shifts per week

Shift Times: 13:45 – 21:45

Salary: £37,100 Per Anum 


Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Engineer

  • Respond to breakdowns and perform reactive maintenance.

  • Repair and test mechanical plant equipment.

  • Fault-find and resolve technical issues.

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance across the Tewkesbury site.

  • Adhere to and adapt maintenance schedules, liaising with the Engineering Manager.

  • This is a physically active role that requires manual handling.
     


Key Skills of a Mechanical Engineer

  • Experience working with high-speed machinery, ideally within the dairy or food production industry.

  • Experience working with automated machinery.

  • Strong fault-finding methodology and problem-solving skills.
