Hours:
Day Shift

Salary:
£13.50 – £13.75 per hour dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Assembly Operative:

  • Carry out mechanical assembly of precision components
  • Perform soldering work to required quality standards
  • Assemble components using hand tools and assembly equipment
  • Read and follow assembly instructions and technical drawings
  • Inspect assembled products to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Support production activities across the department as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Key Skills of a Mechanical Assembly Operative:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience within a mechanical assembly environment
  • Previous soldering experience is essential
  • Good hand dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow technical instructions and assembly drawings
  • Experience using hand tools and assembly equipment
  • Flexible and reliable approach to work
