Marketing Manager 

 

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire  
Hours: Full Time | Permanent – 40 hours per week  
Salary: £42,000 per annum  

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strategic and experienced Marketing Manager to lead the marketing function within a well-established and values-driven organisation. The Marketing Manager will collaborate closely with the Commercial team to support sales growth and business development through effective brand and marketing strategies. 

 

Key Responsibilities of a Marketing Manager:

  • Provide strong leadership and direction for the Marketing Department 

  • Develop, implement, and manage marketing plans and strategies aligned with business goals 

  • Promote the company’s purpose and values consistently across all internal and external communications 

  • Ensure brand identity and messaging is consistent across all platforms and departments 

  • Oversee the social media strategy and ensure engaging, on-brand content is delivered regularly 

  • Support the Commercial team with marketing requirements and help design tailored strategies 

  • Assist departments across the business with marketing initiatives and campaigns 

  • Plan and execute promotions, including sourcing, performance tracking, and future recommendations 

  • Design and implement marketing processes, including team training and system rollout 

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations

  • Lead on the creation of marketing materials including artwork, written content, and brand guidelines 

  • Manage marketing communications and media interactions with professionalism and care 

  • Organise and coordinate company participation in tradeshows, events, and public engagements 

  • Oversee the design, maintenance, and performance of the company website 

  • Liaise with external marketing agencies when required 

  • Negotiate with suppliers for marketing support as needed 

  • Set departmental goals and monitor KPIs to ensure continuous improvement 

  • Complete any other reasonable duties as required by the Senior Leadership Team 

  • Occasional travel may be required 

 

Key Skills of a Marketing Manager:

  • Degree in Business, Marketing or related field, or equivalent relevant experience 

  • Proven leadership experience within a marketing environment 

  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro 

  • Understanding of website design, user experience, and social media strategies 

  • Experience in developing and executing marketing plans for B2B and B2C audiences 

  • Strong understanding of branding and the ability to represent the brand effectively 

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and highly positive in approach 

  • Strong process development skills and ability to work to strict timelines 

  • Awareness of customer segmentation and various marketing channels 

  • Personable and skilled in building positive working relationships 

  • Excellent attention to detail for high-quality, accurate output
