Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Stroud

Hours: Day Shift

Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• Perform both electrical and mechanical maintenance on a range of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Diagnose and repair faults, carrying out preventative maintenance as required.
• Install and commission new machinery and equipment when necessary.
• Conduct safety checks and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including health and safety standards.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
• Work closely with the production team to plan and schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reliability.

Key Skills of a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer:

• A 17th or 18th Edition qualification is preferred
• Proven experience in both electrical and mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Competence in using maintenance software systems is advantageous
