Machine Operative
Location: Dursley
Hours:
Double Days Shift Rotation
Early Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm (1:00pm finish Friday)
Late Shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm (1:00pm – 8:00pm Friday)
Salary: £16.21 per hour
Type: Temp to Perm
Key Responsibilities of a Machine Operative:
- Operate production machinery safely and efficiently.
- Assist with machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
- Work across a variety of manufacturing processes within the production department.
- Ensure all work is completed to the required quality standards.
- Report any defects or issues to the Team Leader or Production Manager.
- Contribute positively to continuous improvement initiatives and team activities.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Ensure adequate information is available before commencing tasks.
Key Skills of a Machine Operative:
- Previous experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
- Experience operating machinery within a production setting.
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to follow processes and work instructions accurately.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliable, hardworking and safety conscious approach.
