Quedgeley, Gloucester

Hours: 
8:30 to 17:00 

Salary: 
Starting at £12.75 p/hour rising to £13.45 after training

Key Responsibilities of a Machine Operative

  • Operating heat press machinery to apply logos and branding to garments
  • Positioning logos accurately to ensure high-quality finished products
  • Preparing garments ready for heat sealing and checking work orders
  • Carrying out quality checks to ensure logos are applied correctly and to company standards
  • Packing and preparing completed garments for dispatch
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
  • Following health and safety procedures at all times

Key Skills of a Heatseal Operative

  • Good attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Previous production, manufacturing or warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
  • Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
  • Reliable with a positive and hardworking attitude
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good level of dexterity and care when handling garments and materials
  • Passion for quality and ensuring high standards of work
