Logistics Operative
Location: Cheltenham
Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:00 am–3:00 pm, Friday 7:00 am–1:00 pm
Salary: £27,000 per annum with opportunities for progression

We are seeking a proactive and organised Logistics Operative to oversee and ensure the smooth running of operational activities within the logistics function of our business. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a thriving team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all warehouse and surrounding area activities comply with legislation, company policies, procedures, and contract practices.
• Complete all required documentation and handle information in a timely and accurate manner.
• Meet all goods-in and goods-out requirements on time and in full, ensuring collaboration with other business functions.
• Safely and efficiently operate company equipment in line with policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
• Maintain and comply with Health & Safety standards in your area of work.
• Uphold ISO 9001:2008 system requirements within the logistics function.
• Ensure a high standard of housekeeping, keeping work areas tidy, secure, and locked when unoccupied.
• Manage stock (raw materials, finished goods, and consumables) within designated warehouse areas.
• Participate in developmental training as required.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics setting is desirable.
• A valid Counterbalance FLT licence is advantageous.
• Strong team player with a willingness to learn new skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Safety-conscious mindset and attention to detail.
• Flexible, with a positive, "can-do" attitude.
• Competent in using MS Office applications.
