Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract – This role will go permanent for the right candidate

Salary: £26,436

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and enthusiastic Junior Labourer to join a friendly and hard-working team in North Devon. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in construction and general site work. The role offers on-the-job training and exposure to a variety of tasks supporting skilled tradespeople.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with site preparation, clearance, and general labouring duties
• Load, unload, and safely handle materials
• Support skilled tradespeople on various construction tasks
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Work at heights and outdoors in all weather conditions
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Key Skills

• Strong work ethic with a positive, motivated attitude
• Good timekeeping and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges
• Physical fitness suitable for manual labour
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and site safety
• Full UK Driving License
