Internal Sales Executive
Cirencester, Gloucestershire
Permanent, full-time – £27,000 – £29,000 per annum plus discretionary bonus
This is not a “just answer the phones” inside sales role. It’s a genuine development opportunity to join a well-established business at an exciting stage of transition and growth under new leadership. You’ll be part of a team that’s reshaping how things are done, gaining exposure to sales, operations, customer relationships, and problem-solving. Experience is not essential – we’re looking for ambitious, proactive people with the drive to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities of Internal Sales & Commercial Support:
- Lead qualification – qualify and track leads to support the business pipeline
- Order management – supporting with order entry, scheduling, and coordination
- Customer liaison – acting as a link between all areas of the business to ensure customers have access to answers quickly
- Account support – managing customer accounts, including relationship management and complaint handling
- Compliance – supporting quality efforts by managing technical and compliance documentation
- Materials testing and quality control – assessing new materials, following up on samples sent to customers, and supporting quality control testing
- After-sales support – following up with new and existing customers and suppliers to ensure expectations are exceeded
Key Skills of Internal Sales & Commercial Support:
- A proactive, can-do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Organised, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Resilient, adaptable, and able to problem-solve under pressure
- Interest in developing a career within a dynamic, growing business
- Previous experience in a sales or commercial role is beneficial but not essential – attitude and motivation are key
