Salary: £35k +

Our fantastic client based in Gloucestershire are a leading company in the telecommunications sector, specializing in the erection and maintenance of steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment.

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Installation Team Leader to join their dynamic team. This role involves leading a team in the erection, installation, and maintenance of steel structures for telecommunications equipment. The successful candidate will have a strong background in rigging and steel erection, with the ability to work safely at heights and in various outdoor conditions.

Key Responsibilities of an Installation Team Leader:

• Lead a team in erecting and fixing steel structures for telecommunications equipment installations.
• Conduct surveys, installations, decommissioning, dismantling, and removal of steelwork structures across different industries.
• Pre-assemble structures prior to dispatch at our facilities.
• Safely work at heights on telecommunications structures, including poles, towers, and masts.
• Set out and install FLI Screw Piles, frames, and platforms.
• Drive continuous improvement and provide feedback on buildability and installation challenges to the design teams.

Key Skills of a Installation Team Leader:

• Essential experience in rigging and steel erection.
• Proven experience working at heights.
• Familiarity with tower erection, antenna, and transmission line systems on towers, rooftops, and other structures.
• Ability to understand technical drawings.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and travel to different locations across the UK, with occasional overseas travel (overnight expenses and overtime applicable).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Valid full driver’s licence.
• Ability to pass a climbing medical and Drugs and Alcohol Testing.
