Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm

Salary
£11.70 – £13 Dependant on Experience
 


Key Responsibilities of a Workshop Operator

  • Perform production tasks as directed, including spot welding, tapping, bushing, drilling, pressing, and linishing (training provided).
  • Utilize hand-finishing tools effectively (prior experience required).
  • Follow all necessary health and safety precautions and wear the provided PPE suitable for each process.
  • Communicate any concerns during tasks with the Production Supervisors.
  • Maintain high standards of quality and conformity while working on processes.
  • Complete production paperwork as instructed by the Production Supervisors.
  • Log on and off each production process using MRP barcode scanners to support production planning.
  • Represent the company ethos professionally while at work.
  • Communicate quality or operational concerns to Production Supervisors and Quality Assurance Engineers.
  • Take suitable care and attention on each task completed.

  • Strong awareness of health and safety protocols.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Clear and proactive communication skills.
