Job Title: General Assembly 

Hours: Rotating Shifts — 5:30am–1:30pm / 2:00pm–10:30pm Monday to Thursday, with a 2:00pm–8:00pm on Friday

Salary: £28,948 – £37,560 dependent on experience

The Role

  • Mechanically fitting linear guides and ball screws to machined parts, working to tight tolerances to ensure high accuracy.
  • Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in line with Health and Safety guidelines.
  • Actively supporting company Quality Control processes.
  • Following written procedures and detailed checklists.
  • Supporting weekly production plans.
  • Completing quality gateways to a high standard.
  • Providing on-the-job training where required.

The Person

  • Experience using measuring equipment preferred.
  • Able to work to tight tolerances and confidently use hand tools.
  • Able to read and work from engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication skills, working closely with Team Leaders and Supervisors.
  • A team player who can work to schedules and deadlines.
  • Able to work under pressure while maintaining high standards.
  • Positive attitude with the ability to build relationships within the team.
