Forklift Operative (Temp to Perm)

Location: Sharpness

Hours: Monday to Friday | 8:00am – 4:00pm

Pay: £14.65 per hour

We are recruiting Forklift Operatives for an immediate start at a busy distribution centre in Sharpness. This is a full-time opportunity offering excellent rates of pay and the chance to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period.

Key Responsibilities of a Forklift Operative:

• Loading and unloading deliveries safely and efficiently
• Placing goods into designated storage locations
• Picking customer orders accurately
• Operating Counterbalance and/or Bendi forklift trucks
• Using RF scanners to process stock movements
• Carrying out manual handling duties, including lifting items up to 25kg
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised working environment

The Successful Forklift Operative Will Have:

• A valid Counterbalance and/or Bendi Forklift Truck licence
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience
• A reliable and hardworking attitude
• Good communication skills and a good command of English
• Safety boots and a high-visibility vest (can be provided if required)
• Own transport due to the location
• Flexibility to move onto a rotating shift pattern in the future if required
