Finance Assistant
Location: Cirencester (Hybrid Working)
Hours: Full Time | Permanent
Salary: Competitive
Our client is seeking Finance Assistant to join a busy and supportive finance team. Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role provides a mix of purchase ledger, credit control, and general finance administration duties.
Key Responsibilities of a Finance Assistant:

Process purchase ledger invoices and input data into accounting systems.

Support administration of job costing and finance systems.

Raise sales invoices and maintain accurate records.

Assist with credit control, including chasing outstanding payments.

Review and process staff expenses.
-
Complete supplier statement reconciliations.

Manage shared finance inbox and respond to queries.

Support general finance administration tasks.
Key Skills of a Finance Assistant:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
-
Good organisational and time-management skills.
-
Confident using Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
-
Proactive, reliable, and approachable attitude.
-
Basic understanding of finance processes is beneficial.
-
Experience with accounting systems (e.g. Sage) is advantageous.
-
GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
-
Full UK driving licence preferred.
