Factory Operative – CNC Operator

Hours: Full-time

Job Description 
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team. The role involves manufacturing 
aluminium windows and doors, using CNC machinery, and ensuring production standards meet company quality procedures. 

Key Responsibilities: 
• Report directly to the Production Manager. 
• Operate CNC machinery for the manufacturing of aluminium windows and doors. 
• Set up and calibrate equipment and tools. 
• Program CNC machines to prepare new profiles and update existing profiles. 
• Change tools and create tool files as needed. 
• Perform preventative maintenance and safety checks on machinery. 
• Inspect completed products to ensure compliance with quality standards. 
• Complete all necessary documentation for regulatory compliance. 
• Regularly check machinery and production checkpoints to ensure efficiency. 
• Identify and report shortfalls or failures to the Production Supervisor. 
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and operational procedures. 
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment. 
• Follow directions from line managers and supervisors to meet production targets. 

Key Skills and Experience: 
• Minimum of 1 year’s experience operating CNC machinery. 
• Knowledge of Elu cad for Elumatec CNC is desirable. 
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings is essential. 
• Experience in manufacturing aluminium windows and doors (preferred but not required). 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot production issues. 
• Familiarity with creating tool files and setting up CNC tools. 
• Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards. 
• Ability to work efficiently under guidance and independently when required.
