JOB SUMMARY:
The Fabricator/Welder is responsible for the manufacture of various machines and equipment within the company portfolio.
MAIN DUTIES OF JOB:
- Read, interpret and follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions to ensure exact specifications of output
- Be competent in the use of engineering machinery (guillotine, press brake, powered rolls etc.).
- Undertake Tig, Mig & MMA welding procedures in both stainless steel and mild Steel
- Undertake grinding/polishing of fabricated items by using various handheld tools and/or dedicated material finishing machinery
- Perform quality checks to ensure products meet required standard
- Ensure production times are met
- Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and safety procedures
- Maintain machinery and tools using preventative maintenance methods
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment
Employment terms
- Full time, permanent role
- Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.00pm, Friday 7.30am – 1.30pm
- £16.05 per hour, overtime available
