Location: 
Stroud

Hours:
Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm, Friday 7:30am – 2:00pm (40 hours per week) with overtime available

Salary:
£30,000 – £35,000 per/ Annum  (dependent on experience)
plus additional earning through bonuses and overtime

Key Responsibilities of an Electrical Fitter

• Produce vehicle and equipment circuitry of varying complexity to required specifications
• Work from electrical schematic drawings using general electrical engineering tools and techniques
• Carry out quality inspections and monitor own work to ensure it meets required standards
• Refer work for concession or remedial action to management where necessary
• Adhere to all company Health & Safety policies and departmental safety rules
• Maintain responsibility for personal health and safety and that of colleagues

Key Skills of an Electrical Fitter

Essential:

• Solid electrical engineering background
• Recognised electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds, BTEC, or NVQ
• Ability to read, understand, and work from electrical schematic drawings
• Proficiency with general electrical engineering tools and techniques
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to perform self-inspection
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
