Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer 6322

Location: Stroud

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00

Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 DOE

About the Company:
Our client is a leading manufacturer of world-class aviation refuelling systems based in  Stroud. Our commitment to quality, performance, and reliability ensures that we work with some of the world's largest airports, oil companies, and military organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Undertake design work based on contract specifications.

  • Produce accurate technical drawings using 3D AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

  • Modify and update existing designs where necessary.

  • Collaborate with production, purchasing, and sales teams.

  • Lead a small team of electricians.

  • Conduct electrical and pneumatic design work.

  • Involvement in mechanical design and equipment testing.

  • Ensure quality assurance (QA) processes are followed.

  • PLC programming (training provided).

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Experience in mechanical or electrical design, or as a junior engineer/graduate.

  • Proficiency in 3D AutoCAD or SolidWorks.

  • Knowledge of electronics and PLCs is advantageous (training available for PLC programming).
