Despatch & Logistics Co-ordinator

Location: Clevedon
Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Thursday: 08:45 – 16:45, Friday: 08:45 – 16:00, including a 45-minute paid lunch break and early finish on Fridays)

Scope of the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and energetic Despatch & Logistics Co-ordinator with a positive outlook and strong attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, confident in working both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in a supply chain role, particularly in liaising with logistics providers, hauliers, and customers, is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and confirm deliveries or returns with customers and transport providers, ensuring compliance with booking-in procedures.
  • Prepare accurate despatch paperwork (electronic and hard copies) in line with customer requirements.
  • Manage the timely despatch of finished products, liaising with customers, transport teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee third-party storage of raw materials to align with production schedules.
  • Ensure efficient management of contract-manufactured products to meet customer and internal requirements.
  • Handle import and export documentation in compliance with international regulations.
  • Maintain professional and timely communication across the business.

Key Skills & Requirements

  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build effective relationships.
  • Experience in a similar logistics or supply chain role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Experience with SAP/SAP B1 is advantageous.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade C or above in Maths and English.
  • Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to work.
  • Full Right to Work in the UK.
  • Full, clean UK driving licence.
