Despatch Administrator
Location: Clevedon, North Somerset
Hours: 40 hours per week
08:45 to 16:45 Monday to Thursday
08:45 to 16:00 Friday with early finish
Salary: Competitive, available on application
Contract: Permanent
We are recruiting for a Despatch Administrator to join a growing food manufacturing business at their Clevedon site. This role sits within the Supply Chain team and reports to the Inside Sales Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities of a Despatch Administrator:
- Deliver a high level of customer service, liaising with customers and suppliers
- Process sales and purchase orders efficiently
- Manage customer expectations and ensure deliveries are on time and in full
- Respond promptly to customer queries and orders
- Coordinate despatch of goods with logistics providers and hauliers
- Prepare despatch documentation
- Manage and coordinate third party storage
Key Skills of a Customer Service & Despatch Administrator:
- Previous experience in customer service and/or despatch
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator and effective team player
- Competent in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent) at Grade B or above
- Excellent time management and flexible approach
- Full Right to Work in the UK
- Full clean driving licence
