Customer Service Administrator (Maternity Cover) – 6541

Location: Tewkesbury

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00

Contract: Fixed-term until May 2026

Salary: £13.18 p/h


Key Responsibilities of a Customer Service Administrator:

  • Provide professional administrative support to the customer service team, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Accurately process customer orders and maintain up-to-date records in internal systems.

  • Handle incoming queries by phone and email, delivering clear and helpful communication at all times.

  • Produce and maintain reports using Excel, supporting colleagues and management with accurate data.

  • Liaise with other departments to resolve issues promptly and ensure excellent service delivery.


Key Skills of a Customer Service Administrator:

  • Must be a confident Excel user, able to input data into tables and formulas

  • Strong background in customer service and administration; applications from university graduates or gap year students will also be considered

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High level of accuracy, organisation, and attention to detail.

  • Positive, proactive approach with the ability to prioritise and adapt in a busy environment.
