Counterbalance Forklift Driver (Morning Shift) 6844

Location: Magor, Wales

Hours: Monday – Friday, 06:00 – 14:00

Salary: £13.50 per hour (Temp-to-Perm)
 

First Base Employment are recruiting for multiple Counterbalance Forklift Drivers to join a busy distribution operation based in Magor. This role is working on a permanent morning shift within a fast-paced warehouse environment handling delicate products.
 

Key Responsibilities of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver

• Operating a Counterbalance forklift truck to move palletised goods
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Transporting pallets across the warehouse and yard areas
• Supporting the smooth flow of goods in and out of the site
• Handling beverage products, including pallets containing glass bottles
• Following all health and safety procedures at all times
   

Key Skills of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver

• Minimum 1 year experience operating a Counterbalance forklift
• Valid Counterbalance forklift licence (accredited preferred, in-house considered with strong experience and proof of previous training)
• Confident operating forklifts in a busy warehouse environment
• Strong awareness of health and safety procedures
• Reliable and able to work morning shifts consistently
   

This role focuses on forklift operation rather than picking and packing, with the majority of work involving pallet movements across the warehouse and loading areas.
