Location: Tewkesbury

Hours: Minimum of 37.5 hours per week, five shifts (Monday – Saturday)

Salary: £13.17 – £13.53 per hour (Overtime paid at 1.25x after 40 hours)

 

About the Role

We’re seeking a skilled Counterbalance Forklift Driver to join a busy chilled warehouse team based in Tewkesbury. This hands-on role involves working across the factory floor, glass fridge, warehouse, and external loading bays, ensuring goods are moved safely and efficiently using modern electric forklift trucks.

 

Key Responsibilities of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

  • Operate forklifts to check, transport, and unload goods
  • Assist on lorries with pallet handling
  • Maintain a clean and safe yard and warehouse environment
  • Comply with food hygiene and health & safety regulations
     

Key Skills of a Counterbalance Forklift Driver:

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (renewed within the last 3 years)
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Positive, team-focused attitude with the ability to work efficiently
  • Ability to communicate clearly and follow safety standards
  • Experience in dairy or food production is desirable, but not essential
