Job Title: CNC Setter/Programmer (Turning) 6231

Location: Stroud (GL5)

Hours: 39 Hours per week – Day Shift

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
 

Key Responsibilities of a CNC Operator – Setter/Programmer (Turning)

  • Operate CNC machinery (CNC Lathe) to produce aerospace-quality machined components.

  • Select the required tooling to perform machining operations.

  • Edit and create machining programs as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with all internal processes and quality standards.

  • Adhere to all company safety policies and contribute to a safe working environment.
     

Key Skills of a CNC Operator – Setter/Programmer (Turning)

Essential:

  • Minimum of 4 years of direct experience working with FANUC-controlled CNC machinery.

  • Proven ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings to produce CNC programs.

  • Strong communication skills.
     

Desirable:

  • Experience working in an Aerospace AS9100 approved facility.

  • Familiarity with Mazak controls.

  • Experience with Swiss Auto machining.
