CNC Setter/Operator – Night Shift 6503
Job Title: CNC Setter Operator (Night Shift)
Location: Stroud
Hours: Night Shift
Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setter Operator:
- Set and operate Mill-Turn CNC machines to produce high-precision components.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure accurate machining.
- Conduct tool changes, offsets, and adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.
- Perform first-off and in-process inspections using measuring equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Work closely with the production team to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience as a CNC Setter Operator, with Mill-Turn machines.
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with measuring equipment such as micrometers, verniers, and gauges.
- Willingness to work night shifts and meet production targets.
