CNC Setter / Operator (Milling) 6553

Location: Stroud, Gloucestershire (GL5)

Hours: 39 hours per week – Day Shift

Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience


Key Responsibilities of a CNC Setter / Operator (Milling):

  • Operating CNC Machinery (CNC Mills) producing aerospace-quality machined components
  • Selecting the required tooling to perform machining operations
  • Editing and adjusting machining programs as needed
  • Interpreting customer drawings and technical specifications
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and safety policies
  • Contributing to a safe and efficient working environment

Key Skills of a CNC Setter / Operator (Milling):

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience with FANUC and/or Heidenhain controlled CNC Machinery
  • Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings
  • Strong communication skills
  • Aerospace AS9100 environment experience (desirable)
