CNC Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator 6728

Full-time, permanent
Double day-shift rotation

Salary:
£32,000 – £39,600 per annum (depending on experience)


Key Responsibilities of a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator

  • Programming, setting and operating 4 & 5 Axis Machining Centres
  • Producing a wide range of highly toleranced components used in the manufacture of CNC machines
  • Programming, editing and improving parts using Mazatrol CNC controls
  • Working collaboratively within the machining team, adhering to strict health & safety standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement, kaizen initiatives and positive shopfloor culture

Key Skills of a CNC 4/5 Axis Milling Programmer / Setter / Operator

  • Strong understanding of setting and operating CNC machining centres
  • Proven experience working safely with CNC controls
  • Ability to work effectively within a busy manufacturing environment
  • Positive, proactive and can-do attitude

Desirable:

  • Ability to program from engineering drawings using Mazatrol
  • Completed mechanical engineering apprenticeship, HNC or equivalent
